. . . Is a Geek!

Yeah, I'm THAT girl who . . . is a geek! And I'm proud of it!

So, what was the most exciting thing about your day? You would think my answers might be:

1. It's Friday - nuf said.
2. No spit wads thrown in class today.
3. My students typed on the computer and so I didn't really have to plan much for today.
4. Exciting weekend plans.

No, none of the above. The best thing about today was that I bought a domain name, server space, downloaded wordpress, and I am building my own web page. Yes! I get to learn a new coding language! I know - geeky. But I love computers and technology. I'm excited to be able to design a web page just the way I want it.

Now, don't get me wrong, I do love blogger. I love the freedom it has given me to put my voice out there on the www. (By the way, this week I had more hits on my blog from people outside of the US, than people inside the US - way cool!) But, I'm excited to do what I want and combine some of the blogs I write on.

I won't tell you the web address of my new website because I don't want you peeking at it before it is ready. I'll announce the launch of the website when I get it all done. Hopefully I will have it up by October!
