New Years Resolutions

So, I have never made New Years Resolutions before. They seemed a little silly to me. You know the traditional ones like lose weight, or not be so critical of myself, or show gratitude. Well, last night I went to a stranger's house and they were making 12 Resolutions for 12 months. It took me about 2 hours, but I did actually come up with 12 resolutions. They are really more like goals. I'm posting them because I've read that if you make goals you should tell people because it makes you more accountable.

  1. Buy a house by June.
  2. Practice the piano 2 times a week.
  3. Exercise 3 times a week.
  4. Read all of the Standard Works in one year (Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price).
  5. Write in my journal 5 times a week.
  6. Leave work at work.
  7. Make the video from my cruise.
  8. Read 20 books on my "Must Read" book list.
  9. Go somewhere I have never been before.
  10. Write 300 pages of my novel.
  11. Finish 4 paintings (including the one of Venice for Melissa).
  12. Do 2 community education classes that I haven't done before.

I like your resolution list. Is there a place I can see your "Must Read" list? You always have great book suggestions.

So, I think we should do a race together. I found some in Utah, or you can come here! We can walk a half marathon this summer!

Wow - to me that's a big resolution list. I'm at the point where I have to make one goal at a time, like do a load of laundry today, lol! j/k I hope you accomplish them all and publish the results!!
